There are several easy things that you can do to be a part of the movement for a fair justice system:
- Sign up as a member of InCASE. Membership is free and simple and allows us to communicate with you better about the issues in your particular district and the stances of your legislators. This also allows us to alert you about events going on in your community.
- Volunteer to host a discussion in your home or community. Invite your friends, co-workers and neighbors. InCASE has several speakers who are capable of discussing the moratorium concept and the issues that need to be addressed to ensure a fair, just system. Email us at incase@indianacase.org or through our Contact Us page for more information.
- Be an objective, informed source of information for your community. The death penalty is an issue that many Hoosiers are curious about but most are relatively uninformed. As a friend, colleague, co-worker, and neighbor, you can be a source of information while not judging. By educating others about the facts of Indiana’s death penalty, you can help elevate the level of discussion and build a strong base of educated Hoosiers.
- Use the tools provided on our Speak Out page to make sure your voice is heard in your community and the legislature.
- Help InCASE continue the important work of educating, organizing and advocating through a donation.
